Last Week Of School

My last week of school was well ..... fantastic, exciting, frightening, and unsurpassing. My classmates have been nothing short than fabulous. They have made me feel like I am one of them - including me in activities, secrets and jokes. I will never forget that. I wish nothing but the best for each and everyone of them.  Now what? That has been a question people have been asking for about a month and my answer is ... I'm without a doubt unsure about my future but I am  nervously optimistic. Which I do not think is all together terrible - that just means my future is open to receive anything that the good Lord wishes to bestowe.

My last cup of coffee ... well as a student atleast =D

Belated Xmas Pics

FINALLY done with studies and now I can post allllllll of the pictures I've been trying to get on here.
These here are our Xmas pictures from NewYear's Day (last year and this year we celebrated Christmas on Jan 1st so that my in-laws can be with us). Weird I know - when it comes to holidays (except for Passover) we don't usually observe them on their correct day =D

Shabbat Shalom

"And it must continue with him, and he must read in it all the days of his life, in order that he may learn to fear Jehovah his God so as to keep all the words of this law.."

Christmas Gifts

A belated post I know - please forgive me but
I wanted to share a couple of items I made for a select few (with hand made gifts I only give to those who will geniunely enjoy the gift and two I only make for a few because of time constrains - this way the gift never feels like it was intrusive or a burden.) I am just so elated on how great everything came out.
I made a lap blanket for my boss (which I was so excited about that I forgot to take a picture) =o I made it with acrylic yarn, for easy cleaning, it is tan with color flecks in it - I alternated single crochet and double crochet all the way across using a 'P' hook. It came out so pretty that I am thinking of making it for my mom-n-law for her birthday (shhh don't tell her) ; D

Postings

Looking over to the right to the count down calendar you will know why I haven't been posting. I graduate on Wed Jan 19th at 2pm (knock on wood) and I have finally finished my case study project (which is a nightmare that I don't want to remember EVER). I have 2 Christams posts and my last of "School Daze" to share, so keep an eye out for them.

Around The Garden

This week we got a slight cold-snap (and a snow flurry -YES IN PHOENIX- I ended up trying to call my Mr instead of taking a picture - what was I thinking ;p ) and ended up freezing a few things =( But luckily I took some pictures last week to show you how the garden is doing.
This is my parsley plant and he is doing really well - but I think I'm going to lose yet another basil plant though. I lost 1 strawberry plant but the other is fine (with no fruit) and my mint is going bizzerk!
